3. API Exceptions like Throttling or Insufficient Capacity can be caught easily

1. There are delays in capturing the requests. In case you are debugging something on real time with support team, you may need to wait until it captures the event.

Comprehensive Logging of each event happening in your account.

Easy to integrate/use with almost all services. (My case :- implemented a AWS lambda function which takes and aggregates logs of all services from cloudTrail and put it in S3).

It get's a little complex with we involve and gather logs from multi account environments.

Logs are not instantly produced, they get's delayed.

Cloudtrail is easily integrated with AWS cloud infrastructure. It is extremely easy to set up access management with cloud IAM. Aws specific alerting and monitoring is well integrated with cloudtrail. Cloudtrail also allowed me to do advanced log analytics by using some external services. It's very easy to maintain organisational compliance metrics all in one place. The information is well documented by AWS and anyone 2ith minimal knowledge of cloud can understand. Cloudtrail is very expensive compared to it's peers like datadog and sumologic. The logs format and shapeis fixed as a JSON format and is not customizable. Overall less customization is provided for user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Extremely helpful in audting purposes to check the events as in which AWS resource/ IAM user made what kind of an API call to any aws resource.

Also cost is not expensive - as the logs can be stored in S3 Bucket (which helps in reducing the logs cost).
