I used to piece together multiple systems (blogs, email newsletter, etc.) to send our release notes. Annoucekit makes it easy for the entire product team to jump in, add release notes and get the updates out to customers quickly and efficiently. It's easy to use and saves a ton of time. While the primary use case is in-app updates, I wish there was more functionality around email updates. The email digest is fantastic and effortless (auto-send a monthly update with all updates from the past 30 days), but I wish the end-users could decide if they wanted to receive update via email or receive the digest. I like that we were able to launch announcekit from our own icon within our app. It helped keep our design system consistent. Additionally, it was perhaps the least expensive and easiest implementation I've ever done and it has had the highest effort:impact ratio on NPS than anything else we've ever done. Since implementing it our average NPS has gone from 19 to 36. Every time we post, we see a spike in our NPS responses and promotor reviews. Couldn't be more pleased. Right out the box Announcekit looks great! It's easy to set up and the UI is clean and easy to use. The team are constantly bringing out really great updates to make announcements stand out to your customers. The post editor has all the tools you'd expect such as inline images, video and URLs. One of the coolest features is user engagement tracking. You can see which updates make users happy, sad or indifferent.

We regularly use the subscriber email feature that sends specific posts direct to their inbox. This helps make important feature announcments more visible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much to dislike with announcekit! Their current list of integrations are with Slack, Intercom and Zapier. It would be great to see them integrate with other parts of our product team techstack as well such as ProductBoard, Segment and Jira Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
