We previously used Amazon FinSpace for financial data management and analytics. AWS has announced that the service is entering end of support, and newer architectures are increasingly shifting toward SageMaker AI Studio, AWS Glue Data Catalog, Amazon EMR, and Apache Spark for similar analytics workflows.

Amazon FinSpace simplified financial analytics by bringing secure data ingestion, managed Spark clusters, notebooks, data cataloguing, and managed kdb+ together in a single platform. The integrated notebooks and Spark environment reduced the amount of infrastructure we had to manage, while still enabling analysts to work quickly with large financial datasets.

I am currently using this tool to discover our data stored on it in our FE (can’t disclose more details). The best part is that the data stored on this platform can be retrieved faster, the speed of this tool is the prominent feature of all. I have been using Amazon Finspace for a while now, the most thing i like about Amazon Finspace is, it is really easy to use can be configured scalable easily, and prepare, store, Retrive data easily the most important thing is the db is available in multiple zones, And well how can i forget about Amazon Documentation which make a lot of work easy, as always the Customer service is really good.
