Absolutely nothing. They’ve proven to be completely unreliable, failing to make a simple payment over a month after selling my domain. I dislike almost everything about Afternic. Their customer service is non-existent, they’ve repeatedly failed to process payments, and they don’t even notify customers when something goes wrong. The lack of transparency, communication, and basic competence in handling transactions raises serious doubts about their reliability as a marketplace. My afternic account name is ibasaran2007. One of my domains was sold in afternic on April 8. The afternic transaction team informed me that my payment was due on the way. Though I informed them about the situation MANY times, still there is no payment for 5 months. They got my site's money from the buyer but THEY HAVEN'T TRANSFERRED IT TO ME! Each time THEY gave me different excuses. The money is only 37 dollars. I WILL NEVER BUY NEW SITES FROM GODADDY AND SEEK LEGAL ADVICE AND I WANT TO WARN PEOPLE AGAİNST AFTERNIC. There isn't a lot to detest about the site. There are times when the site might be overburdened with traffic, so some of the time the site requires a long time to stack, paying little heed to how quick our data transmission speed is. The site's UI could be worked on in certain habits; however, it takes care of business, so that isn't an issue. This "company" should be investigated. They are certainly no form of escrow. As thte seller, they will contact you once an offer has been made for your domain. If accepted, the buyer submits funds to Afternic. As the seller you then sign over your domain to receive your funds. HOWEVER, they give you the run around about how they don't have to pay you, and can hold the funds for an "indefinite amount of time." When I called in just hours after accepting the soft offer and requesting to cancel because of this issue, the service rep literally said one word, "No."
