1 EDI allows us to customize our EDI transactions with our customers, adapting transaction documents to their individual requirements. 1 EDI's flexible job processing provides robust tools to integrate both incoming and outgoing transactions into our business processing systems. With 1 EDI, our electronic commerce transactions flow into and out of our systems with minimal human interactions. 1 EDI's transaction mapping tool is complex and sometimes difficult to navigate. Some of the mapping controls are not intuitive to use, especially as the inbound and outbound mapping tools work very differently. Additionally, some of the general UI features are not customizable when the need to be. In particular, when reviewing past transactions, the data is displayed in a relatively small proportionally spaced font. This makes reviewing the transaction data difficult for two reasons. First, the proportional nature of the font makes it difficult to distinguish between narrow letters, such as "I" (uppercase "i") and "l" (lower case "L") and a "|" (pipe character). Second, the small (about 9 or 10 point) font size exacerbates the difficulty of the proportional font. This display is not customizable to select a different font or font size. While you can double-click the display to export the data to an external text editor, this is an unwanted extra step when you are trying to review several transactions. I have been using EDI HQ and AS2 from 1 EDI Source (Now Epicor) since 2015. It is a very extensive and stable program using Microsoft SQL Server as its database. I use Microsoft SQL Server daily in my own software development work and find the open access to data to be extremely helpful. The support team at 1 EDI Source are experienced and always propose a workable solution to any issue I have submitted through their help system. The pdf reporting of EDI 810, 812, 850 and 864 segment types lend to excellent communication with the supplier I work with. I think the user interface is dated. The visual interaction with the program could be improved by a re-designed UI with menu's that are more intuitive. This is not a major drawback because the only time I am on the program is to research a data problem. The help text needs to be moved from the "Wiki" and better integrated into the actual program. The software is super easy to navigate and makes sending and receiving documents seamless. When we do need support, we get an answer from a person quickly and it's always informative. We use the software daily and it meets all of our EDI needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it can take up to a week (after we've asked) to get the yearly license renewal sent to us. It would be nice if they offered multi year licenses so we don't have to update every year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I particularly like that 1 EDI Source has a hybrid customer to meet our needs. This has been invaluable to our team.

Ric Findlay, the main consultant assigned to us, is always there when we need him. There have been times when he is in a meeting that I have entered a case but he always ends up taking care of the problem. Epicare has not been the greatest to get a a problem resolved.

Monthly maintenance has been a little nuisance as it conflicts with some of our major processes that are sent our ERP. I understand though, that this is minor and is unavoidable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We deal with many software providers in our business, and the one thing that really stands out with 1EDISource is the great people who work there at all levels. I think the culture of the company comes from the top with Lance Hutt really driving the "how can I help you" attitude of all of the folks in the organization. David Horwitz is one of the best sales people we deal with any of our partners as he is always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
