# How has your use of your IDE has changed over time (looking for user feedback!)
Hi!
I'm not sure if this is allowed on this community - but figured worth a shot to post and ask!
I am working on a new IDE for configuration of industrial systems and data. My team is using VScode and other IDEs for inspiration and to follow rapid development best practices.
I would love to get your feedback (from people who use IDEs like IntelliJ or VSCode) to help make sure what I am creating is super easy and fast to use.
If you are willing to share some inital feedback - can you tell me about when you first started to use your IDE , what did you do? Depending on how long you have been using the IDE, how has your use changed?
