# What are the best bot mitigation tools for blocking scrapers and credential stuffing without affecting real users?

Yeah the &quot;without affecting real users&quot; part is the whole challenge, since aggressive blocking creates false positives that frustrate legitimate customers. DataDome and HUMAN are the specialists reviewers point to here, both are built to tell sophisticated bots apart from real users in real time, so they aim to block the bad traffic while letting humans through cleanly. Cloudflare&#39;s bot management is a strong option if you want it integrated with your CDN and WAF. For queue-based protection during traffic spikes (like drops or sales), Queue-it takes a different angle by fairly managing surges. Honestly the key is running any of these in monitor mode first to tune sensitivity against your actual traffic before you turn on enforcement, that&#39;s how you avoid blocking customers. Do you have a login-heavy app (credential stuffing risk) or a content/pricing site (scraping risk)? The tuning differs.
