I’m looking into RPA platforms that actually make sense for IT consulting firms, especially where the work isn’t just internal automation but also building, scaling, and managing automations across different client environments.
A few I’ve been comparing:
Automation Anywhere: seems like a strong fit for consulting firms that want cloud-based automation, enterprise security, and something that can scale across multiple client use cases.
UiPath: looks like one of the safest options if breadth of features, market adoption, and client familiarity matter. It also has very strong review volume and recommendation rates in the current comparison data.
Microsoft Power Automate: seems appealing if a lot of your client work sits inside Microsoft-heavy environments, and cost or accessibility matters.
Blue Prism: looks more suited to firms working on structured enterprise automation projects where security, governance, and operational control are a big deal.
Which platform consulting teams have found easiest to deliver client value with, especially when you factor in deployment speed, flexibility across industries, and how manageable it is once projects grow?
