# Is PowerSchool SIS worth it for a mid-size institution that needs to avoid multi-year implementation burnout based on reviews from registrars who have been through the process?

&lt;p&gt;The K-12 weight of that review base settles the fit question before the burnout question arrives. For mid-size higher-ed I&#39;d want current higher-ed references, not ratings. On the drag itself, the pattern from teams that finished on time: a named internal owner, paid training bought upfront, and rollout phased by term, not by module.&lt;/p&gt;
