# Is Lightspeed Golf actually worth it for operations managers based on user reviews?

Hello G2, I've been trying to work out whether Lightspeed Golf is actually worth it for operations managers based on user reviews in the golf category, since it's the platform with the largest review base here, but that alone doesn't answer whether the value holds up for the operations role specifically.

What matters most for an Operations Manager evaluating this specifically:

Whether the checkout and tee sheet workflow genuinely saves staff time during the busiest parts of the season

Whether support responsiveness holds up during in-season pressure, not just during onboarding

Whether the reporting layer produces insights an operations role can actually act on

What the reviews suggest on those points:

Lightspeed Golf: Support response times are described as being measured in minutes rather than hours, which matters most exactly when something breaks during a busy tee time window. Business intelligence reporting is repeatedly credited with removing guesswork from pricing and staffing decisions. Checkout speed improvements are described as benefiting both staff and customers directly.

For Operations Managers who have run a full season on Lightspeed Golf: did the value show up most clearly during daily operations, or was it more visible during the high-pressure stretches like tournament weekends and peak season?

"Response times measured in minutes" is worth pinning down to when. A minute-level response in February tells you very little about a tournament Saturday in July when every course in the region is busy at once. Anyone who's been through a full season: did response times hold in peak, or did the in-season answer end up being "work around it until Monday"?
