Enterprise job scheduling is a software application that automates the execution of IT tasks, processes, or workflows within an organization. It’s designed to optimize the allocation of technology resources, minimize manual interventions, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
The term enterprise scheduling is often used interchangeably with workload automation (WLA) and service orchestration and automation platforms (SOAP).

Question on: Yotascale
How does Yotascale compare to the AES tools and Park My cloud
I am looking at managing Cloud spend and what to evaluate a few tools

Hi there, sorry for the delay in responding. Going to assume that AES is a typo for AWS for this one.
The native AWS tools are fine if you have a simple use case, such as a single account, only a couple of teams, and aren't leveraging containers / Kubernetes in your environment. However, they can't grow with you, and more complex environments with multi-cloud, multiple accounts, engineering teams and shared resources need 3rd party tools like Yotascale to give a complete view of all your spend, broken down into your business context.
ParkMyCloud is a different kind of service, focused on cost management by scheduling cloud resources to be turned off during idle times (think dev, QA, etc that are usually only active during business hours). While there is overlap in right-sizing recommendations between ParkMyCloud and Yotascale, Yotascale provides deeper information into the cost impacts of right-sizing recommendations, as well as AI driven budgeting/forecasting, deep technical support for shared costs such as Kubernetes clusters, and richer reporting that allocates costs in terms of your business context. Our automated resource tagging policies help our customers get up to 95% accuracy in their cloud cost attribution, which is the foundation for any effective cloud cost management. In short, we're somewhat complimentary if you have large scale dev environments that you would benefit from having the ParkMyCloud scheduling feature, while getting more in-depth cost attribution, reporting and budgeting with Yotascale across your full cloud infrastructure.
