Question on: Liongard
[What is Liongard used for?](/discussions/what-is-liongard-used-for)

What is Liongard used for?

Liongard is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) that automates the discovery, documentation, and auditing of IT systems. The platform leverages system-specific micro-apps, called Inspectors, to perform the jobs on a scheduled basis against each target. The information captured from each target is stored over time, generating a living system of record of configuration state. These data include configuration state information such as accounts, policies, licenses and other information relevant to the management of the system. Liongard presents this data in a unified dashboard, allowing MSPs to pivot and analyze across customers, systems, set alert rules and track individual metrics and changes over time.

A JAMS job is a scheduled job (ran within the JAMS software) coded to automate regularly run tasks within you organization to save on human intervention. Saving time and error. This could be something as simple as moving files from one location to another, or running reports collected from multiple sources of data. If you can code it, then you can get a JAMS job to do it.
