We will be releasing the latest version of our platform in early 2020 which has been completely rearchitected using the Laravel PHP framework and drives higher levels of performance and brings simplicity to designing complex workflow solutions. Some new updates include the ability to write script tasks in more languages, all of which can be deployed in Docker containers. The entire architecture of the platform has been rebuilt to be completely decoupled in addition to an API that makes it easy to connect your workflows to third party systems. The interface has also been updated to provide a more intuitive experience for developers and business users alike. A reusable component architecture has also been implemented so whatever IT builds can be reused by business users to build workflows. I tried, BonitaSoft and Bizagi. I think these two BPMs are great software. I used ProcessMaker for its simplicity of making forms out of workflows. Example, you can easily start and draw the BPMN. Then you just create webforms as needed (Dynaform in PM). And then you assign assign a webform to a particular task in your BPMN. In short, it is easy to find the steps and simple to create a process in PM than in competing BPMs.
