A drip campaign is typically informative — it isn't overtly salesy and offers "free" information that the receiver can utilize – providing them with the value they seek while not overdoing it. Not simply to consume your free stuff, but to contact you and become a paying customer is your ultimate goal.

You can definitely set up drip campaigns in Mailchimp! We call these Customer Journeys. To get started, just head to the Automations tab and pick a "trigger" like when someone new joins your list. From there, you can map out your series of emails and add "Delay" blocks to decide exactly when each one hits your subscribers' inboxes.
As for your HTML templates, you can totally make one-off changes at the campaign level. When you're designing your email, just open the code editor to make your tweaks; these updates will only apply to that specific campaign, leaving your master template untouched. If you want to make things even easier, try adding mc:edit tags to your code so you can swap out text or images using our visual tools instead of digging through code every time.
