Not even close. In fact, I would say it's now leading the way on self-hosted CMS features and user adoption.
With the change in management between version 5 and version 6, EE has come alive again and has pushed the boundaries of what CMSs can do. It's introduced frontend editing, new role management, and a number of features that used to be 3rd party. Now is the best time to be using EE.

Webflow has it's own unique framework that leverages it's own breakpoints, CSS grid, flexbox, etc. At the end of the day, the code generated is just clean HTML, CSS and Javascript.

As a designer, I build my own template websites or choose from Duda's large array of templates to begin a design. If I'm building a completely custom website, I start with their basic empty template that includes a header and footer-and off I go!
Duda has made it much easier for us to maintain a professional website without relying on developers for every small change.
