SolarWinds stores backups in more than 30 ISO or SOC certified data centers located in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, USA, and Canada.

Apologies for the long delayed response - we just found out about this discussion area. SolarWinds Backups are AES 256-bit encrypted in transit and at rest. Customers have the choice of either creating and holding their own encryption key, or having one automatically generated by the system. Backups are sent via a TLS 1.2 connection to help safeguard privacy and data integrity. Additionally, all backup data is stored in data centers with physical security safeguards in place.

Relational Junction has patented scalability features that let it copy terabytes of cloud or on-premise data without exceeding API limits, and do it more quickly than any other method using multi-threaded readers and writers. The only real limitation is in the amount of storage you have available.
