Automation and Collaboration in Focus at Salesforce’s TrailblazerDX 2022
Salesforce’s TrailblazerDX (TDX) 2022, a Salesforce developer conference at the end of April, featured a plethora of forward-looking statements, demos, workshops, and dancing mascots. Much was said and shown, but automation and collaboration were key themes at both TDX and the preceding analyst summit. So how does Salesforce's messaging line up with what software buyers are asking for?

The Pros and Cons of Different Automation Types
The concept of automation is straightforward: create tools that perform tasks with minimal human involvement. And the motivation for more automation is simple: Companies can do more with less. “More” means companies can sell and deliver a higher volume of products and services than ever before. “Less” refers to the fact that, thanks to automation, fewer resources are required.

G2 on Enterprise AI & Analytics: What is It Really & Why Does It Matter?
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become the hottest topic in technology. Its use in the age of digital transformation spans the commercial and public sectors, fueling debate among businesses, lawmakers, and the public. I have been putting pen to paper on the subject for a few years now; having recently joined G2 to nurture the expansion of our AI categories (as well as our analytics, cloud, and security categories), I would like to sum up some of my views, while setting the scene for a more detailed exploration of the technologies, business challenges, and trends shaping AI.

Question on: UiPath Agentic Automation
What sort of Analytics are available with the UiPath platform?
Analytics
UiPath Orchestrator provides basic reporting capabilities: for each automated process, the number of robots, how many successful transactions per reporting period, how many failed, process time and total number of transactions. We also provide a dashboard - a graphical representation, in which the user can select the reporting period and the automated process. Additional reports can be easily created (logged data is stored in a SQL Server database). We use ElasticSearch for storing and indexing logged messages (which can be regarded as a NoSQL database) which can be extended with Kibana - a data visualization plugin for ElasticSearch - which provides visualization capabilities on top of the content indexed by ElasticSearch. Kibana is integrated in the web interface of the server, allowing users to create (ad-hoc) bar, line or pie charts on top of large volumes of data.

Question on: UiPath Agentic Automation
Is there a limit to the number of Robots that can be deployed?
Scalability
UiPath has been tested and proven to deploy successfully up to 10.000 Unattended Robots and 1000 Attended Robots in a single Orchestrator instance.

Question on: UiPath Agentic Automation
What level and range of technical skills are needed to develop the automations?
Skills needed
We try to ensure that our customers become self-sufficient with our software. We have customers who have deployed UiPath at scale inside their organizations that are already self-sufficient. After training and some experience, our customers can independently carry out process modeling. Whilst IT experience or programming is not a requirement, being a problem solver with an analytical mindset to break a problem in smaller pieces and understand processes is definitely required.
