Hi Joseph, I am a Qlik Partner Ambassador with a vested interest in the success of Qlik solutions. It is firstly great to see the debate move on from QlikView v Qlik Sense. To Qlik Sense on-premise (client managed) v Qlik Sense Enterprise Cloud (SaaS). Our company Differentia Consulting services 500+ Qlik customers and we discussed this very question on a monthly basis at our sales meetings for two years. We needed to be able to advise clients which option is best and also to lead with one (or the other). For clarity, we lead all sales engagement with Qlik Sense SaaS, purely because it ticks more boxes, ie Qlik Sense SaaS is a 'better' proposition for more prospects. This was the case until recently Oct 2021, when Qlik released new features, including automation, to Qlik Sense SaaS that simply makes the SaaS option a game-changer, one that has been referred to, by me, as the fourth wow in the life of Qlik. Qlik has moved Qlik Sense from a Data Analytics (BI) tool to a Data Analytics, Automation, and Integration solution with embedded ML and AI. Combined with Active Intelligence (which we call "Smarter.BI") Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS should be well-positioned for many years to come. All this is available from a single user, meaning Qlik can service next-generation companies as well as established companies. The world of data analytics currently has a major skills shortage and any solution that; will reduce time to value, is simple to use, avoids coding where possible, and does so in a single platform, will enable our clients to remain competitive with minimal investment. In my mind, there is no longer a debate to be had, but a need instead to plan each and every client journey to adopt a roadmap to hyper-automation with Qlik Sense Enterprise SaaS at the core.

There are customers loading terabytes of data into Qlik apps. Have you posted in the Qlik Community for assistance? There may be issues with the way you are loading data. Even on a laptop, I have loaded millions and millions of rows into a Qlik app.
