Will try to answer this to the best of my knowledge. Bro, please double check all the specs of your hardware meets, if not exceeds, SAPs minimum system requirements. Also, verify your network connections, specially the wired ones. Poor conductivity could result in lower signal strength or loss. Most probably you're implementing a firewall appliance, please do check that too if the configurations are in favor of SAP users.

You can set the receipt date on a GRN by using the Options>Set Receipt Date function, however this will not change the period of the GRN. You cannot change the period on receipts, but you can change the period when you are matching the GRN in AP Invoice Entry, which will back the AP Invoice in to the same period as the GRN. (AP Invoice Posting>Options>Change Period)
