Question on: Ignite Digital
When was the first Google Panda update?Google Updates
Show More
In 2011, Google launched Google Panda. The software though is not like its fluffy counterpart. Google Panda was targeted at helping them sift through all the bad links and other sites which were deemed to be of a low quality. The aim was to introduce high quality websites to show up higher on the search results in order to make sure that proper legitimate businesses were getting their due instead of getting the traffic held up by unreliable, spamming websites.

Question on: OpenMoves
What does the OpenMoves kickoff / pre-sale process look like?Getting Started
Show More
In our first conversation, OpenMoves will typically introduce ourselves, speak in general to our firm and services, and listen to your challenges and try to understand the project you're interested in starting. If it sounds like we can help, we'll move into our next step which is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of your current PPC efforts and put together a strategy plan for how to improve moving forward.
We'll present our plan to you usually in PowerPoint format on our second call. We'll need access to the important ad platforms like Google Ads / Facebook Ads beforehand to develop analysis that's customized to your business, budget and desired outcome. If you decide to move ahead with OpenMoves after hearing our strategy overview, we'll get started.
On our kickoff call, we'll outline everything we need to make the project a success including account access, creative assets, information about your business, and more. We'll create a shared Google Sheet and DropBox folders for easy communication and collaboration.
After the kickoff, our team will start working right away in the relevant ad accounts to execute the strategy we outlined in our initial proposal. We'll be in touch very regularly at the beginning with project updates, needs, current status and performance. Most clients prefer a weekly status call during the outset of the project.

Question on: OpenMoves
What results will I get from my PPC campaigns?PPC Results
Show More
OpenMoves manages purely performance marketing campaigns for clients which are always oriented towards achieving a bottom-line result, typically either an ecommerce sale and thus a profitable return on ad spend, or a lead generation and cost per lead within a target range.
The actual specific values that a client will achieve in ROAS or CPL cannot be predicted in advance, as they depend entirely on the specific business model, target audience, campaign scale, competition, and more.
We have some clients achieving a 1000% ROAS and others that are happy to get a 200% ROAS.
Ultimately, we'll measure ourselves on two core factors: your PPC campaigns are making money for your business, and our management has produced measurable improvement compared to past results.
