If you want to disadvantage a webshop, you can apparently do that. Recently a customer of ours had an amount of money blocked (successfully) because the product we had sent had not yet received while this product was already on its way. As an example: We sent the product ordered by the customer to the address that the customer provided, but this address did not match the address that PayPal has for this customer. How does this work? After the order has been placed, the product has been shipped, then you block the payment. Then PayPal asks for proof that you send the product to the address known to them, in case the address is different then you have a problem as a webshop side. Because in case you specify a different shipping address (for example a friend, family member etc) Paypal will decide in favor of the customer in the event of a dispute. Because the product was not delivered to the address known to Paypal. Then Paypal also charges another 14 euros in dispute costs to the webshop. We have now stopped using Paypal immediately, may this be a warning for other webshops.
