Question on: Bitwarden
Can Bitwarden be hacked?
Can Bitwarden be hacked?
No it cannot. The passwords are end to end encrypted on Bitwarden's servers. Only you can access them when you enter your password and they're decrypted in RAM of your local computer. Your passwords are never stored on the disk drive of your local computer either, unlike the built-in browser password managers which are susceptible to password stealer programs grabbing the passwords at anytime.
TLDR: Bitwarden employees can't even view your unencrypted passwords. So there's no way a data breach into Bitwarden would turn up any unencrypted passwords. This has been verified by many 3rd party audits.
Never... I was a (paid) user of LastPass and switched to BitWarden precisely because there was a major data and password leak there. In BitWarden I have complete confidence in the security and impossibility of hacking or leaking information. Super safe!
