If you are referring to assigning multiple people to a single task then all users would get notifications of any changes such as description, status change, date changes, file attachments, etc. If by group you mean they have access to a project or space then their is a wide range of features they have access to. All users can see the project and its subfolders. they can view or make changes - add tasks, assign tasks, change status or dates, etc. Also the ability to see the project Gantt chart and upload any documents. Another great feature is the Dashboard and reports.

When I became the new administrator for our Collective, I became aware of the guidelines and practices in place at that time. I worked closely with the Creative Services team (users who upload and search for content), to gain insight and feedback on what can be improved or changed.
