The manager constantly gets notifications of every change if it that is the way it is set up if the manager isn't interactive with the app then it's hard to use going forward but any real company will use it accordingly and make sure that your days off are approved or not approved it also lets you claim your PTO and how many hours you want if you have any PTO available best of luck

Hello, that's a great question. The approval and notification workflow can be configured to require approval or it can be turned off as your organization prefers, however, notification only occurs for a cancellation. When using auto-approval, it does not send a notification to the manager.
