Access is controlled at the function and dimension level. You can also further restrict access to certain accounts and/or limit drill-downs on certain accounts. Each accounting system with an API interface has their own protocol for exchange of data with 3rd party products like MartusTools™. Martus will help you with the steps necessary to make the connection. For accounting systems that do not have an API, MartusTools™ provides a mechanism for uploading financial data via Excel or CSV files.
