SheerID determines if you are enrolled as a student by instantly connecting with authoritative data sources, like the office of the registrar for a university. We collect some basic personal information that can confirm your eligibility on behalf of the brand making the offer, and as a way to communicate with you or deliver your reward. We may also ask you to upload school-issued documentation if your information is not instantly verified. Documents are purged automatically once they have been reviewed and everything provided to SheerID is protected by rigorous protocols. There's a few questions that display via a pop-up, that differ based on the program. Verification happens immediately in most cases, unless the person needs to submit documentation for the SheerID team to review. There's different ways to then apply the promo code, based on how you choose to set up your program.
