Geopointe includes an inline editing feature that allows you to make field updates from the Map. Any fields that have been added to your data set can either be edited from the record's info window on the Map, or from the list view below. Just click the pencil to bring up a dialog box to perform the change. When done, confirm with the check box, or cancel with the X.

Yes, Geopointe supports mapping of External Objects that have been synced using Salesforce Connect. However, there are some limitations. Most important to note is that external data must have latitude and longitude fields mapped to custom fields on the external object.
