Can WhatsApp be used as a live chat tool instead of diverting to the WhatsApp no.?
The WhatsApp tool is Amazing. It provides a connection to your WhatsApp when the caller or messager clicks on your tool. Oh yeah, it works better if they already have WhatsApp downloaded. If not, I believe it sends you to the WhatsApp download page for you to download and complete the call or message.

With the way our WhatsApp Chat works, it does open a dev WhatsApp Chat application at the moment.

How do I hide the email reply chain, so it's easier to read/reply to each ticket?
When emailing customers, the whole chain of previous responses is visible.

Hi Carolyn,
There is no way to hide/delete any messages from the thread. However, when you open the ticket, it immediately takes you to the newest message.
If you refer to cleaning out the thread in the sent message, you can delete it directly in the text box as explained here: https://docs.gorgias.com/ticket/how-to-manage-your-tickets#editable_reply_threads_for_email_messages
