Question on: Route
Doesn't FedEx and UPS already cover this?
The common misconception with shipping insurance is that the major carriers cover lost and stolen items. Even though some shipping carriers do cover SOME of the claims, it’s only up to $100 in value and once they leave the item on the doorstep and mark it as "delivered" in their system, they wash their hands of any liability. Even filing a claim that may fit in their responsibility is incredibly difficult with lackluster approvals and usually very time-consuming and frustrating, making it more of a hassle than a service worth pursuing. Carrier resolution issues are notoriously slow, and only a small controlled portion of these claims aver see any form of reimbursement. Route offers something much better.

Question on: Route
How will Route effect checkout flow and conversion rate?
Route is designed to fit natively into your checkout flow with a minimalistic design, creating no disruption, and is either selected or deselected with a single click (it's up to you). Because Route adds 3rd party trust and assurances to the most common concerns (shipping) at the most pivotal point in the checkout process, our merchants will often report an increase in cart conversion rates.
