How Website Monitoring Can Help You Achieve Different Business Goals
In the past year, there has been a surge of new online businesses because of the COVID-19 pandemic. One example is Facebook launching Facebook Shops last year. According to the United Nations, the e-commerce share of global retail trade had risen from 14% in 2019 to about 17% in 2020. However, with the new growth in online presence, businesses sometimes struggle to keep their website running and up to date, often due to a surge in traffic and demand.
Many businesses have started buying website monitoring software to track their web performance, but they can do a lot more than that. This article will explain why companies should consider using the advanced features of website monitoring software.

How does Auryc define a session?A session is the period of time a user interacts with your website or app. Interactions include pageviews, clicks/taps, swipes, tab changes, moving an app into the background, and spans of inactivity (periods when a user does not exhibit any actions).
Web sessions begin when a user lands on their first page and end when a user closes the window or has a period of inactivity lasting longer than 30 minutes. During a web session, Auryc will consolidate every click, pageview, and tab change into a single session as long as the user stays within the same browser. If a user opens the same URL in two different browsers (Chrome and Safari), then Auryc will track this behavior in two separate sessions.
Native app sessions begin when a user opens the application, and end when a user closes the app or has a period of inactivity lasting longer than 3 minutes.

Question on: Heap
Will Auryc slow down my website? No, Auryc’s script is engineered to load asynchronously, optimized to execute in the browser environment and should never impact your page load times.
Here’s how it works:
Auryc’s script is loaded asynchronously. It will not impact how your site loads its own assets. Your page performance will not be impacted when Auryc’s script is being loaded. In the highly unlikely case of Auryc’s server being down, your website will still load normally.
Auryc’s script is hosted on a high-availability Content Distribution Network (CDN). Our high-availability CDN, backed by Amazon Web Services, takes advantage of strategically positioned servers around the world, thus allowing our script to be loaded faster by your visitors and with better availability.
