Construction Accounting Software Resources

We currently use the equipment module to manage our large equipment fleet, but I am wondering if there is a way it can assist us in maintaining a full small tool tracking system to assist in loss prevention, since these are the items which can easily be taken from a truck or job site.

Do you guys use to daily log to record everything such as phone calls, inspections, visitors and notes. Does this seem to help keep everything recording for future use?

I have experience with iTWO and am trying to get a sense of comparable functionality of ProCore.
