Designers or engineers input design goals into generative design software, along with parameters such as materials, manufacturing methods, and cost constraints. Unlike topology optimization, the software explores all the possible permutations of a solution, quickly generating design alternatives. It tests and learns from each iteration what works and what doesn’t.

Packs of 100 Cloud Credits are available for purchase and can be purchased by: Go to the Management tab in your Autodesk account page. Click on the Reporting tab on the left side of the page (the icon looks like a graph). Click the Get individual credits button OR if there is a shared contract pool, the contract manager can select Get Cloud Credits next to a Shared Contract.
