The Relevance of PLM Software in the Manufacturing Industry
Traditional product lifecycle management (PLM) has come a long way—from its genesis as a solution focused on computer-aided design (CAD), offering document management capabilities to its evolution as a SaaS platform that manages the lifecycle of highly complex products.

Question on: Designcenter Solid Edge
Simulation & motions analysis. How to Foex motions i.e multiple links motions & Interlock in between
Plant simulation related..also some robotics application motion part movement simulation can we do?
Hello Kapil,
Solid Edge includes a motion environment that analyses motion of mechanisms in the assembly. For more information, you can check our learning resources here:

Question on: Designcenter Solid Edge
How can synchronous environment be optimized in sheet metal?
When I use sketches to constrain assemblies, that’s great. I known synchronous doesn’t work that way, so What would the equivalent be for producing an assembly, so that when I change a part, everything else reacts to that change and moves accordingly.
Hi Mario,
The Solid Edge assembly environment has a function called "Create Inter-Part Relationships". You will find this in the Clipboard group on the Home ribbon. This function allows you to build associativity between synchronous parts.

Question on: Designcenter Solid Edge
How can solid edge be improved? Making it available for the higher version of the OS.
What are the things that can be done so that there will be ease to imply them and make them useful
Hello Mahalakshmi,
The most recent version, Solid Edge 2021, has been certified to run on the Windows 10 Enterprise or Professional (64-bit only) version 1809 or later.
My recommendation is keeping your Windows system up-to-date. Besides that a good hardware configuration is also necessary. Recommended would be 32 GB RAM or more, at least 8.5 GB disk space for the installation only, 1920 x 1080 or higher display resolution and a good graphics card designed for CAD.
Best,
Solid Edge Team
Hello you guys can bring up some more optionn in rendering part. To animate or video recorder will be best.
