Classroom Messaging Software Resources

Thank you for your questions, Stephanie! We are working on improving the ability to print and/or export engagements. Currently, you can easily export a call/message log by going to History, but we know that isn't an option for the actual conversations. Hopefully, this is something we can resolve in the near future. As for uploading documents, you can easily do that by going to the Student Card and clicking on Attachments. Here, you can upload PDFs, pictures, or other documentation that you find helpful or insightful for that student. I hope this answers your questions. This would be a great idea to suggest to Schoology directly. I don't know of any way presently to do this.

Dojo can be used as a classroom management tool. You would have to leave the page open throughout the day to access it, unless you you had access to Dojo from an iPad or phone. Anyway, you can set your own “behavior” labels and points. For example, when you select and enter a class, you have the ability to give or take away student points. There are “default” labels but you can change those labels to fit your classroom management plan and even change the amount of points it’s worth! Parents are notified each time points are awarded and taken away. You also have the option to leave a comment explaining why the points were given or taken and parents can see that as well.
