[Best AI platforms for creating long-form articles](/discussions/best-ai-platforms-for-creating-long-form-articles)

When it comes to the best AI platforms for creating long-form articles, there are some good options like Scalenut, Jasper, and Copy.ai. These tools are widely used for creating in-depth blogs, guides, and reports that go beyond short-form marketing copy. You can also explore the [AI Content Creation Platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/ai-content-creation-platforms) category on G2 for a full list of solutions, but here are some of my top picks for long-form writing:

- [Scalenut](https://www.g2.com/products/scalenut/reviews): Designed with SEO in mind, Scalenut provides topic clustering, SERP analysis, and outline generation to help produce long-form articles that are structured and optimized for ranking.
- [Jasper](https://www.g2.com/products/jasper-ai/reviews): It supports long-form content workflows with customizable templates and brand voice features, making it easier to produce articles, whitepapers, and reports at scale.
- [Copy.ai](https://www.g2.com/products/copy-ai/reviews): It is often used to expand short prompts or outlines into full-length articles. It’s especially helpful for marketers looking to repurpose ideas into detailed blogs and newsletters.

I’d love to hear from the community: Which AI platform has helped you the most in creating long-form content, and what features make the difference for you?

Really interesting insights from everyone here. I’ve been experimenting with some of these AI platforms, not just for content creation, but also for generating technical documentation and test reports.

I’ve noticed that **Jasper** and **Scalenut** do a great job structuring long-form articles, but when I need more factual accuracy or customization (especially for test cases or release notes), I lean on **ChatGPT**. The ability to combine prompts with existing structured data, like API outputs or test case summaries, makes it easier to create detailed, readable content without losing context.

What I’d love to see more in these tools is integration with analytics, maybe something that evaluates how readable or SEO friendly a technical article is compared to competitors. That’s where SEO.ai sounds promising, as Rahul mentioned.

Came across this during my research: [Best AI writing generators](https://learn.g2.com/ai-writing-generators). It gives a clear breakdown of different platforms, their pros and cons, and is a quick way to compare options at a glance.

Long-form articles get good engagement on many content-focused social media platforms. Many AI tools are good for creating content. I use a mix of all these depending upon the quality of content generated. They differ in terms of time taken, facts, accuracy, and the prompts given. They help in brainstorming and customizing the content very well.

Some of the AI platforms I prefer are:

- SmartCopy.io
- ChatGPT
- DeepSeek

Agree with Harshita's take here. I'll add a few other important points -

When investing in a tool, I have often seen marketers make the mistake of buying one which provides decent results in an absolute sense (for example a good article) but doesn't provide any benchmarking data and/or competitive analysis.

One of the hidden gems I found was SEO.ai. Has all the capabilities of your garden variety AI content creator but also highlights elements such SERP features which have allowed a content piece to rank page 1 vs others.

A decent bargain at $49/month.

No one AI tools can create a long form article that's engaging throughout. It a mix of different tools honestly. ChatGPT + Claude does it for me. But always section by section not whole article per se.

In my experience, the best platform depends on the type of content you're creating. For long-form articles, SEO and research capabilities are important, but workflow automation is becoming equally valuable. I've recently started evaluating Lovart AI, and what stands out to me is its Agent Skills approach. While it's not just a traditional writing assistant, the structured workflow helps organize creative tasks and speed up content development. For teams producing content at scale, this kind of guided workflow can be just as important as the writing quality itself. I'm curious how others balance AI writing quality with workflow efficiency when creating long-form content.

Question on: Canva
[Canva for non-designers: where do you hit limits on advanced control and exports?](/discussions/canva-for-non-designers-where-do-you-hit-limits-on-advanced-control-and-exports)

Canva’s drag-and-drop editor, huge template library, and tools like Magic Resize, Background Remover, and Magic Write can make it easy to create professional-looking assets without expensive software or a steep learning curve. At the same time, some people run into limitations with advanced typography and customization, plus frustration around print order hiccups or support responsiveness. Export options like layered vector or PSD formats can also be a sticking point when moving projects into other suites. Where have you found Canva works best, and what limitations or workarounds have mattered most for you?

Canva is excellent for quickly creating professional-looking designs without advanced design skills, but the limitations become more noticeable when you need precise control. Advanced users may find some restrictions around detailed layout adjustments, typography control, asset editing, and fine-grained design customization compared with professional tools like Adobe products.
