People tend to think of different types of charities and private foundations when they think of nonprofits. While it’s true that all charities, in general, are nonprofit organizations, the reverse isn’t always true. Understanding different types of nonprofits is crucial to ace governmental reporting and motivate communities, whether using admission-based nonprofit software or starting your first nonprofit.

Question on: Submittable
[What is submission management software?](/discussions/general-5b39f64f-dcfe-40bc-8ac4-1b44e4ac9a15)

General

Submission management software allows a company or organization to accept digital applications, files, or images via a web-based form. Without having to rely on email or file downloads, the company can accept large volumes of applications and associated data, and can often allow team members to review, comment, and decide on submissions. Question on: ThunderTix
[What options do I have for ticket delivery?](/discussions/ticket-delivery)

Ticket Delivery

All at-home customers receive an email receipt. A print-at-home PDF ticket will be attached if you desire. We support most industry thermal ticket printers if you prefer hard tickets. To learn more, read our ticket printing options guide. A comprehensive Will Call report at the door let’s you use wristband, hand stamps, or other forms of entry.

Answered: Jacob Migdal on November 30, 2016

By default, tickets are delivered electronically via email as soon as the order is processed. Ticket buyers will receive a branded print at home PDF that you may customize with sponsor advertising or your own graphics. The PDF ticket may be disabled if you prefer they only receive an emailed receipt of purchase. In addition, we integrate with thermal ticket printers or receipt/label printers to print tickets on-site. The most popular printer is the Boca Lemur for the traditional 5.5" x 2" ticket with a 1" stub. Pre-print tickets to be given at will call or print tickets on-demand as you sell them from the box office at the event.

Question on: ThunderTix
[Who can access our sales and reports?](/discussions/sales-access)

Sales Access

The primary administrator of the account can grant or restrict access to virtually all parts of the system by setting a user’s “permission levels”.

Answered: Jacob Migdal on November 30, 2016

You and your team will have access to ticket sales and event reports. Create unlimited user logins for each member of your team with customized permissions for what each person can see and do within the platform. Disable the ability to view reports for those that shouldn't have access to financials. For those that are renters of the space, you may provide them access to your account restricted only to their own events. Give them access to their own event sales reports and financials, saving you and your team time from repeatedly downloading event reports leading up to the event. Allow them to pull their own reports as often as desired any time.
