What do you like best about Zabbix?

I like that Zabbix is highly configurable and adaptable to any particular condition or need of the environment. It provides me with detailed information about the state of infrastructures and services, with very high-resolution and highly customizable metrics, configurable alarms, and standard notification mechanisms. Unlike the previous product, I can configure and adapt it to our needs. The initial setup was simple. It is the best monitoring product I know; moreover, it is free, highly customizable, and new versions are constantly released. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

I would like that in low-level discovery type autodiscoveries, a system of inheritance could be defined that would allow the discovered element to recursively use low-level discoveries. I believe that today this cannot be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Zabbix solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Zabbix to monitor network infrastructure and systems and to have detailed information about the state of infrastructures and services, with very high-resolution and customizable metrics, configurable alarms, and standard notifications.
