What do you like best about YouTube Live?

As an independent industrial and UX designer, I use YouTube Live to broadcast my portfolio showcases and design Q&As. The best part is that the audience doesn't need any onboarding; everyone already has the app. The UI/UX of the streaming dashboard is straightforward, and the integrations with broadcasting software like OBS are seamless. The performance is usually rock-solid even at 1080p. I also really appreciate the AI and intelligence features—specifically, how the platform uses artificial intelligence to automatically generate accurate captions for the VOD (Video on Demand) right after my stream ends. What do you dislike about YouTube Live?

Since it's a massive free platform, getting direct customer support is practically impossible. If you run into a weird streaming bug, there is no fast support team to contact; you just have to rely on community forums. Also, the stream delay is annoying. Even on the lowest latency setting, there's a 5 to 10-second lag. When I'm asking viewers for real-time feedback on a UI prototype, sitting there waiting for replies feels awkward. What problems is YouTube Live solving and how is that benefiting you?

It totally removes the barrier to entry for my viewers. Instead of forcing freelance clients or design peers to register for webinar software, I just share a simple link.
