What do you like best about XAMPP on Windows 2019 WAMP Server?

Quick and esy setup helps all types of users to configure it with simple interface. Ready to use packages like PHP,MYSQL in a single place also helps saving time. Testing behaviour of your Website/Web application on local computer to avoid anytype of mistakes in live, basically its a extra usefull step to check your coding and website at local level before taking it to love server. Easy to use Control Panel, one click start and stop, it gives same as live environment and we can test our websie before making it live. Easy Backup and migration as it creats htdocs folder which has all the projects at single folder with MyPHPAdmin,, it mightbe on local system but some api's like sms api we can test on local, mail service is not allowed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about XAMPP on Windows 2019 WAMP Server?

I usually face PORT block issues for MYSQK and APache, it waste a lot of time which this issue arises, it should automatically deduct the vacant port and help user to assign the vacant one, physically we have to go to PHP.ini files and search for port and then check avaialable and then alot it.

One more problem is setting default memory size, user have to edit the file in text editior and change the required size, it should be at one place easy to use, since we change it manually in the file, there are chances of mistake which results in other mal-functioning of web app/site.

Problem with WampServer is it only supports windows and initially it seems tough for fresh users. Xampp has more community serviice Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is XAMPP on Windows 2019 WAMP Server solving and how is that benefiting you?

best part is is saves time, setup and deployment time reduces and best thing is testing your web app or site on local level before making it live, this helps to solve majour problems,,once its okay on local we can go for live deployment. Accessing all the Databses at one place i.e MYPHPAdmin, easy to import export the database. It also helps to identify particular error with line number in code which helps to improve the code and avoid any type of mistake in live Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
