What do you like best about World Geocoder for ArcGIS?

I like the fact that it recognizes multiple address formats, as well as some coordinate formats. In addition, I do not have to be trying to locate an address in my jurisdiction -- it can locate addresses and locations all over the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about World Geocoder for ArcGIS?

I dislike the fact that I have to be signed-in/connected to ArcGIS Pro and when I'm not, it causes my system to freeze for several seconds while it loads the login box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering World Geocoder for ArcGIS:

If you are using an enterprise product and have GIS support from your local government entity, see if they have an interlocal geocoder built before settling with the World Geocoder. It is good, but local addresses and locations are better verified using locally-sourced data from the Property Appraiser/Assessors Office and your local GIS folks. What problems is World Geocoder for ArcGIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work in law enforcement as an intelligence/crime/GIS analyst. I use this geocoder with TriTech/Omega CrimeView and ESRI ArcGIS Desktop to locate problem areas in the county/city, and sometimes, to convert coordinates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
