## Workday Learning Reviews
  ### 1. Easy, Personalized Learning with Simple Progress Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** priyanka p. | Packaged Application Development Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Workday Learning makes it easy to access training courses, certifications, and learning content in one place. I like that it provides personalized learning recommendations based on my role and interests.

One thing I find useful is being able to track completed courses and learning progress without having to maintain records manually.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Finding specific courses can sometimes take longer than expected, especially when there are many similar learning paths available. The search results are not always as precise as I would like.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps centralize employee learning and training, making it easier to complete mandatory training, technical courses, and professional development programs.

For example, when I needed to learn a new internal process and complete compliance training, I could access all the required courses from one platform instead of searching through multiple systems or documents.

  ### 2. Seamless, Personalized Learning Built Right Into Workday

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mykyta M. | Assistant Store Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

What I like most about Workday Learning is how integrated and personalized it is.

* Built into Workday → no switching systems; learning connects directly to roles, performance, and career growth
* Personalized recommendations → training is tailored based on skills, role, and goals
* Learning in the flow of work → it feels like part of the job, not a separate tas

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

What I dislike about Workday Learning:

* Steep learning curve — takes time and training to use effectively
* Complex setup & admin-heavy — implementation and management can be resource-intensive
* Expensive — pricing and rollout costs can be high
* Limited flexibility/content — less dynamic and customizable than some modern learning platforms

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday Learning mainly solves disconnected, outdated, and hard-to-track employee training.

Problems → Benefits for you:

* Scattered learning systems
→ Everything is in one platform, easier to access and manage
* Low engagement with training
→ Personalized, relevant content keeps learning useful and continuous
* Skill gaps & slow development
→ AI-driven recommendations help you grow skills faster
* No visibility on progress/compliance
    → Real-time tracking shows what’s done and what’s missing

  ### 3. Simple to Set Up, but Custom Training Creation Can Be Tricky

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Very simple and straightforward, easy to set it up and maintain as an admin. We can easily assign courses and set it up so new hires get specific trainings as necessary when they start at the company

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

It almost feels too simple. We struggled at times to add custom trainings and courses. We wanted to build different types of trainings outside of just watching videos. We are struggling to get the proper level of engagement currently.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since Workday is already our source of truth, it is helpful to have it all in the same system and easily accessible for workers. It also makes it easy to incorporate new hire information and updated employee information. Reporting is also easy since it's in the system and makes it easier than our previous system.

  ### 4. Convenient, All-in-One App with Spot-On Audit Trails

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ender Efe C. | Laboratory Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Very convenient: one login, one app, and no hassle. It’s hard to miss a deadline, and the audit trails are spot-on.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Technical content: It’s mostly general corporate training material, and for any “real” science content it seems to require external uploads.

User Interface: The UI looks nice overall, but it can feel click-heavy and frustrating to navigate.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday Learning is a fantastic compliance engine, but only a mediocre knowledge base. It’s great for making sure you don’t get in trouble with HR or OSHA, yet it’s rarely the place you’ll actually go to “learn” the cutting-edge science you need for your next breakthrough.

  ### 5. excellent tool for guided learning

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chris w. | Service Delivery Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

As a manager i can make it mandatory for my team with clear due dates. The learning also states what is required and recommended for all staff

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

some courses need to be booked and the timings can be hard for the team to make when on shift

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

with an ever changing landscape we required our team to become hot works APs and we set required training to be completed to give a great base knowledge in order to assist with the role

  ### 6. Great for Rolling Out and Tracking Employee Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Great place to roll out and track training required of employees

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Not much - it would be nice if it gave reminders that training is due before deadline.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping up with required trainings.

  ### 7. Effortless Course Access and Seamless Navigation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joslyn K. | Licensed Insurance Agent, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

So easy!!! You can pick up where you left off from a course or find a course you need to start right there on the home page.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Finding a course by name is so difficult!

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can always find something I need or want to know. The course lists are so easy to navigate!

  ### 8. Doesn’t quite hit the mark

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor P. | Workday Learning Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Simple end user interface, guided learning prompts for programs and multilessson courses, and the video editing tool.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

It seems like workday just used other functions that already existed and threw them together to make this module (ahem- campaigns). Calling documents and videos a lesson, but courses also have lessons which aren't the same thing is beyond confusing. Reporting completion for a course that is delivered via campaigns and also directly assigned is impossible in one report since they are from two completely separate business objects which cannot easily be connected. Localizing content is not an option in a single content object, you have to create multiple courses for the different languages and then good luck assigning that out to a global audience, tracking it, making sure you don't assign someone the wrong language since they won't have a choice, and then report completion on audits- not possible. Workday security is great, until it's applied to learning, since training functions rarely align to the organizations. Oh, and SCORM 1.2 is compatible, but not compliant.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think peer learning has great potential, but they are investing way to much in that being the next revolution in corporate learning (which it is) and trying to skip the needed foundations of an lms before getting there. That is going to impede them from seeing peer learning be able to take off since the businesses are struggling to manage their own content and the infrastructure required to manage peer learning would be far more complex than what workday is considering

  ### 9. Document, Collaborate, Project Management, Tracking at one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raviraja M. | Internal Auditor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Workday Enterprise Learning It is one of the best user-friendly, which allows you to learn, achieve skills without hassle. we can develop the skills needed to do the best work

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Workday is overly simplified and seems basic compared to other platforms on the market. The feature of learning new skills and technology is still relatively new to the Workday suite and has fewer features than you would expect.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

Workday Enterprise Learning looks basic and oversimplified. It can be developed in a way that is more attractive and more attractive to the users.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user of Workday Enterprise learning, it helps me to choose a learning path that recommends training and assessments based on my interests and requirements. Courses are easy to customize with the ability to upload various document files, videos, and surveys.

  ### 10. Simplify your Enterprise Learning!!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori H. | Sales Training & Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Anyone can create content, its so easy and looks professional and is simple to digest.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Naming conventions are not standard; you will have to convert to the "workday" terms.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can create bite-size training and microbursts of information that needs to get out to the field asap
