## Workbooks Reviews
 ### 1. CRM, projects, marketing, and reporting all in one flow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumail R. | Client Success Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

After bouncing back through several CRM’s that promised heaven and ended up being a mess, with Workbooks I finally felt the pieces fit together. I appreciate not having to jump from one tab to another all day; here the CRM, projects, and business automation really coexist. I had just been keeping track of clients, budgets, and tasks on different planets, and being able to connect everything from the first hello to the final payment brought me back to life in terms of productivity. Being 100% cloud, I forget about rare installations or maintenance; I enter and work, something that any team who does not want infrastructure clutter will appreciate infinitely.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Customization is a double-edged sword. It’s so powerful that if you jump into the platform without having a clear idea of your own processes, you can easily end up spending hours setting up features you don’t even need. It’s definitely a tool for people who already know what they want to track and measure, not something you use to just improvise as you go.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We set it in motion to retire that bad habit of trusting everything to memory or loose messages that end up lost. By centralizing the commercial pipeline and after-sales service, improvisation disappeared completely. I remember a quarter-end where, for the first time, we didn’t have to go guessing the results; the integrated reporting gave us the real and accurate numbers ahead of time. It wasn’t a magical transformation overnight, but the order and foresight we gained were totally worth it.

 ### 2. All-in-One CRM with Room for Modernization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tordsen A. | Facilities Admin Specialist, Facilities Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like that Workbooks is a genuine all-in-one CRM and business platform, not just a basic sales tool with extra features. It unifies CRM, sales automation, marketing tracking, customer support, and order management into one clean, connected system. Everything from lead capture to post-sale support lives in the same place, providing us with a full, consistent view of every customer. Workbooks' automation and workflow rules are impressive for a mid-market CRM, allowing us to automate lead assignments, follow-up tasks, stage updates, and customer notifications without complex setup. This reduces repetitive work for our sales and support teams. I also really appreciate its customer support and onboarding experience. The team is responsive, knowledgeable, and takes the time to understand our process instead of just giving generic help.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

I think the main issue is that the user interface can feel a bit dated and less intuitive compared to modern CRMs. New reps sometimes take longer to get comfortable with navigation, and some menus feel nested deeper than they need to be. A more modern, streamlined UI would make adoption even easier. Another issue is that navigation feels overly nested and inconsistent. A lot of common actions—like editing a field, creating a task, or switching between a contact and its related account—require too many clicks. Some menus use different layouts depending on which module you’re in, which slows down new users and creates small frictions for experienced ones.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks consolidates our CRM, eliminating data silos and merging separate tools into one platform, providing a single view of customers. It streamlines contact management, sales tracking, and forecasting, reducing manual reporting and missed follow-ups, improving both data consistency and team efficiency.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Torsden. Thank you for submitting your Workbooks review. It's great to hear that you've been able to reduce the repetitive work for your teams and, as the person heading up our Support team, I'm particularly delighted to hear that you're happy with the level of assistance you've been getting.

It would be great to know which company you work for and to have your contact details so we can catch up about some of the less positive aspects you've reported and, hopefully, resolve them for you.

Meanwhile, thanks again for taking the time to complete a review.

 ### 3. Effortless Time Tracking, Slightly Slow Loading

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iyana W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like Workbooks because it's extremely easy to use. I use it to track my hours and pay, and it helps with easy management by having all my personal information in one place. I find all the features valuable because of how easy they are to use. Setting it up was very easy too, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

And sometimes how slow it takes to load.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workbooks for easy management, keeping my hours, pay, and all personal information in one place.

 ### 4. Flexible, Reliable, and Efficient Data Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuvaraj h.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I use Workbooks for organizing and managing business data in one place, which helps me track customer information, sales activities, and internal processes efficiently. I like its flexibility and ease of use, as the platform is well-structured and customizable to business needs, making it easy to manage data without complexity. It improves collaboration, provides clear visibility across teams, and keeps everything organized and up to date. I also appreciate the customization options and reporting features as it adapts well to different business workflows, with dashboards making it easy to track performance and progress. The system is reliable, scalable, and supports smooth day-to-day operations. Furthermore, Workbooks integrates well with other tools like email, spreadsheets, and accounting software, helping to keep data consistent across platforms. It's this combination of flexibility, features, and effective support for workflows that makes Workbooks stand out for me.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

While Workbooks is a powerful platform, there is a learning curve for new users, especially when setting up advanced features. Some workflows could be made more intuitive, and additional in-app guidance or tutorials would help speed up onboarding.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workbooks to organize business data, track customer info, manage sales activities, and streamline internal processes. It consolidates scattered data, reduces manual work and errors, and enhances team coordination and visibility, helping us make informed decisions faster.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Thanks for your feedback Yuvaraj. It's great to hear that you're able to make business decisions more quickly now that all of your data is one place. With reference to training and speeding up onboarding, if there's anything we can do to help drive onboarding/adoption. Your Account Manager would love to talk to you about this.

 ### 5. Customer Centric

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sheridan H. | CRM & Events Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It has to be their friendly, reliable UK team. Always on hand to help whether this is a quick phone/teams call or by email, a response is always given on the day or at least the day after. The advice and support given is always helpful and insightful.

Their training courses are detailed but also there is so much to cover in just 4 days and learning doesn't just stop after you have attended the courses the online support site is a great tool to aid any further learning or to recap.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Sometimes the system can be a little slow with loading data or looking, but general housekeeping and ensuring data is kept updated and correct can help minimize this. Also in a report, you can't look at leads or opportunities together you have to create separate reports.

Being able to have a dual workbook screen, would be a great feature to have!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I create weekly, monthly reports for our Sales and Marketing Director at Volumatic. The level of detail we can drill into and the numerous ways this data can be presented is second to none.
The ease of our CRM feeding directly into our email application Spotler, just makes my working day easier and more proficient, I can focus more on the content of the email rather than a long admin process of setting the email up.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Sheridan. Thank you so much for your positive review of Workbooks. It's great to hear how much using it in conjunction with Spotler is improving your marketing efforts and making life easier.

Do let us know if we can be of help with anything in future.

 ### 7. Streamlined Sales Tracking with Fast Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darla S. | Chief Financial Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like having everything in one place to track all items, and I find the keyboard shortcuts valuable because they make inputting information fast and simple. It's also great that Workbooks has helped us immensely since we previously had no way to track our sales and bills.

Exporting and sharing data can glitch at times.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

 ### 8. It clearly shows me which technical content generates the most engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan H. | Social Media Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

A great advantage is our ability to easily customize dashboards and reports. Working as a social media manager, I rely on Workbooks to create aesthetically pleasing reports that I could quickly distribute to managers and co-workers. It has helped us monitor the performance of our efforts and make rapid changes in our approach to achieve better impact. From campaign planning and tracking to budget management and analysis of results, it gives us a complete picture that helps us make decisions. The result has been a reduction in the time spent on the transition between applications and an increase in the importance given to strategy and innovation.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Although it’s unusual that I can create my own dashboards without using Excel exports, the reports are comprehensive.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us with integrated campaign planning and execution, social action ROI monitoring and sales funnel management. Thanks to this unification, marketing, sales and analysis departments are now better suited for coordination; in addition, we all have access to the most recent and consistent data. I can change my approach as I get to know exactly which technical material attracts the most opinions and comments. Automating the reporting and monitoring of leads has helped us free up more time for content production and strategic development.

 ### 10. Workbooks - nonprofit Background

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Great CRM for our smaller non profit of around 50 employees

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

It at times felt too big for what we were looking to utilize it for, but still it fit better than any others out there.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had been using 3 different softwares prior to changing to workbooks. This helped us centralize all of our CRM, email marketing and audience tracking all to one location and software

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi. Thank you for taking the time to complete a G2 review, which is appreciated.

We're pleased to see you describe our platform as a great CRM and to hear that you've been able to centralize the processes previously covered by 3 different software packages, which is the sort of feedback we often hear from our customers. We'd love to help you improve the rating you've given us so that you feel able to provide a 5* review. We would reach out to directly but it's not clear who has submitted this review. Please do contact your Account Manager to discuss your experiences with them and, hopefully, we can work with you to ensure that Workbooks is set up to make it easy to use and effective in achieving your aims.

Thanks again for your review.
