I've helped numerous clients setup WordPress to manage their websites. It provides a great admin backend solution for allowing anyone to update. There are a huge variety of plugins and themes available that add additional functionality to any site. It's customizable for many web solutions and can integrate with other services. The cost of WordPress compared to developing a custom website developed from scratch is huge. It's a cheaper solution offering much flexibility especially for people working with a small budget. It is widely used and support is offered by most web hosts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
