The WooCommerce WordPress Plugin makes setting up an online store on your site simple -- even for downloadable digital products and services.

Maintenance can become quite burdensome due to the number of plugins one might have installed in WordPress and the compatibility issues that can cause the system to fail at any moment.

  ### 17. WooCommerce an online store for your online store

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Enrique A. | Lead Director, Retail Brand Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

Keeping the page updated is very simple to be based on Wordpress, with this we do not have much problem to keep the tasks up to date with little difficulty, has a variety of third-party plugins that are easily integrated and enrich the experience in the application, has a large number of systems to receive payments which makes working with customers much easier. We use WooCommerce in order to keep active and running our online sales sector for retailers, having quite impressive results with a very simple to configure tool to be based on Wordpress, has a large number of functions and allows us to prolong our sales of small portions of our products and services.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

The tool is not of immediate use as it is usually sold, the truth is that everything needs to be configured correctly to be able to take full advantage of its features, it requires constant work to be able to create a really eye-catching store, the additional extensions seem to be very expensive to integrate, which can lead to an excessive expense that should be taken into account in the final prices.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool plays an important role in our company as it allows us to easily manage our retail sales, by means of the tool we keep our inventories and needs updated, the software works perfectly well in small and medium sized companies that take advantage of retail sales in their daily operations.

  ### 18. WordPress and Woocommerce best combination

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erwin R. | web designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

It's easy to use. Massive developer base (ease of online help articles). Works perfectly in the WordPress core template system. And being part of Automatic / WordPress, it's guaranteed to work with continuous development.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

We would like to see more control of admin items for the back-end users, getting easily rid of any superfluous stuff which will make it even more user-friendly.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Woocommerce for clients looking for an online shop or catalogue-type website.

  ### 19. Absolutely love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

I've used WooCommerce for my two of my online stores - True Foodworks and AL eStores. It's super easy to use and has all the features I need to manage my products, sales, and customers. The interface is intuitive and the customization options are endless. Plus, there are tons of great plugins and integrations available to extend its functionality even further.

Overall, I highly recommend WooCommerce for anyone looking to start an online store or wanting to streamline their e-commerce operations. Give it a try and see for yourself.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

I think where WooCommerce loses its edge is not because of WC but more due to the limitations surrounding WordPress. As much as I love building on WordPress, it still remains a fragile platform to build and scale businesses from. Which eventually pushes people to switch to platforms such as Shopify.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It literally enables a seamless ecommerce experience for your WordPress store. Handling everything from inventory management to payments platform integration. eCommerce on Wordpress is incomplete without WooCommerce.

  ### 20. Excellent Platform For Online Stores

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer C. | Founder, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

I love that it easily integrates with WordPress. The plugins work very well and stay updated. In addition, there are so many additional add-on options and extra features.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

The only thing I don't like is that all of the add-ons or additional plugins come at a cost. Yes, you don't need all of them, but it would be nice if they offered more of them at a lesser cost or perhaps more free versions.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WooCommerce allows an entire online store on WordPress. You can effortlessly create products and manage inventory. The best part is that you can do it all for FREE. If you have a basic store, WooCommerce has several free plugin options that can get you up and running in no time. Need more features, you can get them for small upcharges.

  ### 21. Go-to e-commerce software for using on my clients WordPress websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | Freelance Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

I like the amount of different integrations and plugins for WooCommerce. Using it with Stripe makes it easy to integrate with Apple Pay and Google Pay which is often something my web design clients are looking for.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

It would be great if PDF invoices was included as standard. Most clients tend to ask for this and I always have to install additional plugins to achieve this. Facebook integration I also feel could be improved.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Woocommerce is solving my clients having e-commerce setups on there websites and being able to take card / mobile phone payments. It is also solving invoices for clients.

  ### 22. It is getting better each time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramiro T. | Customer Service Specialist, Automotive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

An excellent platform to create e-commerce, it's easy to use and somewhat customizable, but I think it's a perfect start, sadly to make it look better it's necessary to use external plugins that help to customize it.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

I don't particularly appreciate that it is not too customizable, there are many things that still need work talking about customization, I think that they need to open the door so users can customize and can make the changes they feel are needed

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to create an online store in which I could sell my product and receive payments, this way I could grow my business.

  ### 23. Nothing can defeat this free E-Comm platform!

The flexibility and customization options of WooCommerce are outstanding, allowing me to create a unique and personalized online store tailored to my brand's identity and customer needs.

You can't beat the price. The features and functionality you get for a free plugin are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

There is nothing I really dislike about Woocommerce due to the cost, but certain custom functions would be great if they were included in the software by default.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WooCommerce allows me to set up an e-commerce site for clients quickly. The plugin also allows for the ability to customize to our client's needs. Having the ability to install the e-commerce platform instead of developing a platform from scratch saves many hours. Great for our business and great for the clients.

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

As the most popular and free e-commerce - Woocommerce has many developers to solve and create the best tools for every kind of online business.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

Lack of security. With so many stores and users worldwide, WordPress/Woocommerce is a target of hackers who exploit security.

  ### 28. WooCommerce sets up your online store in minutes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrique G. | Acogido al PSI de Telefónica, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2022

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

The ease of implementing the plugin in WordPress for people with limited knowledge. A very important community always willing to help. An abundance of plugins and addons to complement the store. Ease of implementing simple products and variations in a straightforward way. Integration with simple payment tools with external providers through WooCommerce Payments.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

To say something, it seems to me that it seems improvable that there are some addons like the one for bank payments or the one for invoice issuance that could be incorporated natively to avoid loading WordPress with more plugins. Anyway, it's just saying something improvable but it's not decisive.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to this plugin, the need to create a small store with 3 simple products was resolved. The ease of use has allowed the store to be put into production without any maintenance.

  ### 29. WordPress Online Store

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

Installing in the WordPress system is automatic; setting up a store requires little time and all the pages are created automatically.
The plugin is just a few clicks away from the system.
Manage products from the mobile phone app, dimensions of each photo, SKU for immediate search, integrate chat with direct user and cart functions.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

I have limitations with modifying the product in specific WordPress themes, although it is solved by modifying the WordPress system base in templates.
Problems updating products from the mobile phone app in updates, this flaw has to be corrected quickly by the developers because it limits access to the store from the mobile.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sale of products and services in an Online Store with a web page created from WordPress, create all the steps to manage entry and orders within the store.
User control and registration for cart access.
Multiple prices for currencies of each country.
Payment processors.

  ### 30. Excellent Wordpress eCommerce Software!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Internet Marketer, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2022

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

Woocommerce allows me to integrate a shop section on my wordpress sites easily. The basic out-of-the-box functionality is quite straightforward plus there are numerous plugins, both paid and free available to do almost anything you can think of. For those who can do a little bit of coding, there is often no need for plugins as the web is full of tutorials and various workarounds thanks to the product's popularity.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

I sometimes find the software a little slow. While this is of course an issue with server speed on your side, I still feel that it can be a bit clunky with spinning wheels waiting for search queries and so on. This is where a good coder can certainly refine things.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing my customers to easily shop for products in various niches across multiple wordpress websites thanks to ever-evolving software that continues to break new ground.

  ### 31. understanding pros and cons of Woocommerce

The e-commerce platform is offered across our retail industry using WooCommerce.
Due to its plug-and-play capabilities and simplicity of use, I also use it for the same purpose for a different firm.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

They provide dreadful assistance and promote plugins for their own product that are really flawed. Avoid taking this path unless you are a developer or have extensive WordPress knowledge.
There is also no support.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love woocommerce and wordpress, and I run multiple online shops. I'm glad to use a product that was created with consumers' love and perseverance! Keep up the good work!

I use Woocommerce because it is really simple and immediate to use. With Wordpress you have the possibility to do a good SEO job and you can keep the site fast while increasing the complexity.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

The shipping methods are not very evolved, dedicated plugins are needed and they are not easy to find and adapt. The import/export of products and orders is difficult.

Some plugins don't have lifetime purchase but only monthly or yearly licenses which is a bummer in case you need to sell a product.

I have an e-commerce platform and I use Woocommerce for the last 2 years. The best part of this platform is that this is easy to use like a beginner also manages their product. Also from payment management to shipping all features are free to use.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

The worst part is that to use WooCommerce we must have a website. If we can create a free website through WooCommerce and start listing our product then this is going to be awesome. But till now this feature is not available hopefully in future it comes.

To start an online business the main problem is to pay online and offline also track the shipping and manage real-time orders and send an invoice. But Whenever WooCommerce is used it solves all these problems.

  ### 36. WooCommerce is necessary if you work with online stores

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2023

**What do you like best about WooCommerce?**

The connection of WooCommerce with WordPress makes it impossible to escape it. I think WordPress is the most powerful platform for creating websites, so if you are using WordPress and need the commerce feature, you will use WooCommerce. Even though I use other platforms like Shopify too, if you need a custom website built for your needs, with custom and great design, it is better to use WordPress with WooCommerce. Plus: It´s free.

**What do you dislike about WooCommerce?**

WooCommerce is free, but if you need extra features other than the basic ones it already comes with, you will need to pay for many other plugins. Sometimes I find myself needing a feature that I consider essential, and I have to look elsewhere to find a plugin that is often very expensive. I understand it cannot have every feature I need, but I think it is missing some basic ones.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WooCommerce provides an excellent platform for online stores. You can trust that it will work well and has all the basics you need to run your store. Even though using other plugins can sometimes be tiring, the fact that so many people can create a plugin that works with WooCommerce makes it easy to find solutions to your problems, even if they are very specific.

There are many aspects of the backend that are not easily editable on the user-end without needing the help of a website developer or coder. Essentially, it's not as user-friendly to create more product pages and change the pricing of current products.

**What problems is WooCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a program that helps with data retention while setting up an online retail outlet. We can use it to coordinate creating and maintaining WordPress landing page procedures. Sincerity aside, it is a strong product that helps the business outperform the competition for client websites. Because of the program's ability to reward a large number of website connectors for additional marketing, I approve. Notable, isn't it? It means your life will improve in some way.
