But also the well rounded features of PDFelement. I've looked at a number of PDF tools, (and I have PDF Expert as well an older copy of Acrobat), and surprisingly find that many tools are missing basic functions, whether it's adding some text, or creating forms. PDFelement is finally allowing me to toss Acrobat without looking back. Despite having more than one PDF tool, it's PDFelement that is now my "go to" tool. Note: this review is based on Release 5 and I look forward to Release 6. I will try to update this review after using Release 6 for a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Wondershare PDFelement? There is a modest learning curve, though that is hardly anything unusual. One thing that does drive me crazy is that I can't easily get a "Page X of Y" page count in the footer, which I use for both legal documents and certain reports. I regularly combine documents into reports, and then use commenting tools - circles, highlights and text - to point out key items to the reader. I make commentary documents from collections of screen prints. And I regularly scan documents to support a theoretically paperless desk. I use PDFelement to clean up scans and then OCR them so I can search for key items. This sometimes also requires that I combine documents and make them into a coherent whole.
