"DCAA-compliant timekeeping on QuickBooks"
5/5
What do you like best about WiseCost?

As a CPA who helps small government contractors get DCAA-ready, what I value most is that it makes a client's system audit-ready without ripping out QuickBooks. Time is captured daily with a real audit trail, labor is distributed to the right cost pools (direct, fringe, overhead, G&A, and unallowable kept separate), and it posts cleanly back to QuickBooks. The gaps I see most often in practice (logging only billable hours, fragmented tools, no audit trail, mixed cost categories) are exactly the ones it closes. And because the system produces a P&L by contract, clients don't just pass a review, they can finally see which contracts actually make money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WiseCost?

The software itself is refreshingly simple, especially next to an enterprise ERP like Deltek or Unanet, which is exactly why I recommend it. The only learning curve is the DCAA side: cost pools, indirect rates, and what an auditor expects. That's the subject matter, not the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
