What do you like best about Windstream OfficeSuite UC?

Windstream Office Suite UC allows us to set up and control our phone system in ways a conventional key system never would. We have an online interface with lots of flexibility options, routing and re-routing options (in case of an emergency or problem at a particular location, for example), and the ability to use the system across a variety of devices. Please note Windstream has transitioned their name to "Kinetic for Business." It is the same product as OfficeSuite UC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windstream OfficeSuite UC?

Support seems a bit clunky if something goes wrong. There is a chat window option, and Windstream asks users to try that before contacting them. I would love for this to be more streamlined and responsive. Also, the documentation on using the system effectively could be better. We've had to design our own manual with tips and tricks. Recommendations to others considering Windstream OfficeSuite UC:

If you are changing from a traditional key system, be prepared to rethink everything you know about phone systems, as this is an entirely different platform. If you are considering OfficeSuite UC and using another VOIP system, you might find, as we did, that the basic design and functionality of the system checks a lot of boxes compared to its competition. What problems is Windstream OfficeSuite UC solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the age of Covid, remote work capability has become a huge advantage, and the Office Suite UC system has allowed us to pivot on numerous occasions when some or all of our workforce needed to be home instead of in the office. We are an insurance agency group with five offices spread across three counties in rural Ohio, and we've also been able to cope with power outages or other reasons one or more offices needed to be closed.
