"Fast, Polished Windows Experience with Great Multitasking and Search"
4/5
What do you like best about Windows 7?

Introduced a clean, visually appealing look with translucent window borders and smooth animations. Window management features like snapping windows to the side of the screen dramatically improved multitasking efficiency. Significantly faster startup and shutdown speeds compared to its predecessor, Windows Vista. Provided a centralized interface that automatically integrated and managed connected hardware like cameras, printers, and phones in one place. A built-in tool that made troubleshooting simple by letting users record their exact on-screen actions to share with technical support. • The Windows Search feature intelligently indexed files, emails, and programs in the background, offering instant, relevant search results from the Start menu. Pricing of ultimate edition is also reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 7?

The biggest downside is that it no longer receives official security updates. Many modern software programs and newer hardware drivers don’t support it anymore, and it also lacks the native performance optimizations and cloud features found in Windows 11. Microsoft ended extended support years ago, which leaves the system highly vulnerable to malware. With no patches or security updates at all, it’s not safe for daily online browsing. Support: Explains the lack of customer service, documentation updates, and technical assistance from the vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
