"Windows Hello at a Fin Tech Company"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

What I like most about Windows Hello is that it makes each and every user unique to their own experience of how they log into thir computer. Granted, each still uses fingerprint, face, iris, password, but they get to choose their preference of how to log into work every day. This makes the IT experience more beautiful to the employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

I dislike that not many people know about this Windows Hello feature. Some companies my friends work have it and don't utilize it. It really can take IT into the next level if used correctly. I feel like when it came out there wasn't enough marketing for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Windows 11: User-Friendly with Enhanced Security"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I have Windows 11 installed on my PC, and I generally use it for office purposes. It's a great operating system that satisfies my needs as a software developer. I feel that it provides a great UI compared to other operating systems like Ubuntu, and it's much easier to use. Windows 11 offers great functionalities and organizes data or files efficiently. I appreciate the search feature and the support it gives for various applications available on the Internet. Almost all applications, even the older ones, are supported on Windows, which has great capabilities. The UI features have increased compared to Windows 10, and it provides great connectivity and security features. I particularly like that it offers great security features, so we don't require any antivirus. The initial setup was easy and smooth, providing all the details necessary for installation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

The support Windows 11 gives for gaming can be a bit more improved, especially for high FPS games where every render matters. The performance optimization should be a little more enhanced in terms of gaming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cleaner, More Professional Layout with an Easy-to-Use Control Panel"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I like the the newer layout, control panel, easy to access. The layout of not having to scramble through multiple layers of menus and it feels a lot cleaner and more professional than windows 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

Sometimes I don't like how the news pops up at me when I am trying to go between all my work tabs, maybe having a side tutorial to how to turn some items off without uninstalling would be nice, mostly pictorial for visual learners, or sound learners.

When I was trying to upgrade my windows 10 on my desktop computer vs. laptop, said i need some sort of hardware or software to be able to update to Windows 11. It's almost like it saying "Since your PC is over 5 years old, now you have to upgrade to the new, better, flashier model, and then you can upgrade your PC to Windows 11. Not everyone can afford a new PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Windows 11?

What I like most about Windows 11 is its modern, polished user experience. The updated design feels cleaner and more organized than previous versions of Windows. Elements like the centered Start Menu, rounded corners, and smooth animations make the system feel fresh and visually appealing without becoming distracting or overwhelming.

Another standout strength of Windows 11 is multitasking. Snap Layouts and Snap Groups make it much easier to arrange and manage multiple windows at the same time, which is especially helpful for work or study. These tools save time and support better productivity, particularly on larger displays or in multi-monitor setups.

Windows 11 also delivers noticeable improvements for gaming. Features such as Auto HDR and DirectStorage (on supported hardware) can enhance visuals and reduce loading times, making it a stronger option for gamers compared to Windows 10.

Security is a major advantage as well. Windows 11 comes with stronger security requirements like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, which help protect the system from malware and unauthorized access. Overall, this makes the operating system feel safer by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

What I dislike about Windows 11 is mainly how restrictive its system requirements are. Many older computers aren’t eligible for the upgrade, which makes it hard for people with aging hardware to access the latest features. It’s frustrating for users who feel pressured to buy a new device just to receive a software update.

Another drawback is that Windows 11 can feel less customizable than previous versions. Some interface elements, like the taskbar and Start Menu, offer fewer personalization options. For instance, certain classic settings and layout choices that were available in older versions of Windows are now harder to locate, more limited, or no longer supported.

Windows 11 also has occasional bugs and stability issues, especially after updates. Some users experience crashes, performance slowdowns, or features that don’t work as expected. Even though Microsoft continues to release fixes, the overall experience can still feel inconsistent at times.

In addition, Windows 11 places more emphasis on built-in Microsoft services, AI tools, and promotions. Some users feel these are pushed too heavily and end up cluttering the experience. There are also privacy concerns related to data collection, since Microsoft gathers diagnostic and usage data to improve Windows.

Overall, while Windows 11 brings improvements, the limitations around hardware compatibility, customization, occasional instability, and built-in promotions are the main aspects that many users dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A cleaner Windows experience for long workdays"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

What I like best about Windows 11 is how it quietly improves everyday usage without forcing a big learning curve. The interface feels more modern and less noisy, which helps when you’re spending long hours on the system. Multitasking feels better with improved window snapping and virtual desktops, especially when working with multiple apps at the same time. Performance also feels smoother in general use, from boot time to switching between applications. I also like that it balances new design changes while still keeping familiar Windows behavior, so it doesn’t feel disruptive. Overall, it makes long work sessions more comfortable rather than flashy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

There isn’t anything I strongly dislike, but a few changes took some getting used to. Some settings are placed differently compared to older versions, so it can take a little time to find certain options at first. Also, a few customization choices feel more limited out of the box, but once you spend some time with it, the system feels consistent and stable. Overall, these are more about adjustment than real drawbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smoother Multitasking, Stronger Security, and a More Reliable Daily Workflow"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

Windows 11 helps me address issues around performance consistency, system stability, and security in my day-to-day work. It manages multitasking smoothly, especially when I’m running multiple tools, browser tabs, and remote sessions at the same time. The improved security features give me more confidence when working with enterprise systems, and overall I experience fewer crashes and slowdowns than with older versions. As a result, my daily workflow feels more reliable and less disruptive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

One thing I dislike about Windows 11 is that some basic settings and controls are now buried deeper compared to earlier versions, which can slow things down initially. The frequent updates can sometimes be disruptive, especially during working hours. There is also a learning curve with the redesigned interface, which may not suit everyone right away. "Windows 11: A Modern OS Built for Focus and Productivity"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I mainly use Windows 11 for professional work such as Python automation, scripting, testing, and development. I also rely on it for AI and data workflows, including working with datasets, prompt engineering, and building automation pipelines. On the creative side, I use it for video and image editing to produce social media content, reels, and other visual assets. For day-to-day productivity and multitasking, it helps me manage multiple apps, browsers, and workflows at the same time, and I also use it for general tasks like browsing, media consumption, communication, and documentation.

The improved multitasking features—Snap Layouts, Virtual Desktops, and Task View—make it very smooth to switch between work and personal tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

1. High System Requirements

The TPM 2.0 and newer CPU requirements have locked out a lot of perfectly capable machines. It feels unnecessary and frustrating, especially for people whose PCs ran Windows 10 smoothly.

2. Too Many Clicks for Simple Tasks

A lot of common actions now take extra steps. The right-click menu hides useful options under “Show more options,” and settings are split between the old Control Panel and the newer Settings app. Overall, this slows down power users and makes simple tasks feel more tedious than they should.

3. Forced Microsoft Account & Online Dependence

During setup, Windows 11 pushes hard for Microsoft account sign-in, OneDrive sync, and online connectivity. That reduces user choice and comes across as intrusive.

4. Taskbar Limitations

Compared to Windows 10, the taskbar feels more limited. You can’t move it to the top or sides, customization options are restricted, and there are fewer context menu options. In day-to-day use, it ends up feeling like a step backward.

5. Inconsistent UI

Some parts look modern and polished, while others feel like they’re straight out of Windows 7. That inconsistency breaks what would otherwise be a clean experience.

6. Updates Can Be Risky

Occasional updates can break drivers, introduce bugs, or cause performance drops. Because of that, updates sometimes feel more like “hope for the best” than something confidence-inspiring.

7. Pre-Installed Bloatware

Even on a fresh install, apps like games, ads, and promotions show up. It’s annoying on a “professional” OS and makes the system feel cluttered right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cleaner, Calmer Windows 11—Snap Layouts Make Multitasking Effortless"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

It's a great OS that I have been using since it came out. Windows 11 feels cleaner and calmer. The best part is Snap Layouts, they make multitasking fast and predictable. Overall, it’s more polished, secure by default, and stays out of the way so you can focus on your work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

Windows 11 can feel restrictive. The biggest downside is how much control it takes away, things like a less customizable Start menu and taskbar. Some settings are harder to find, split between old and new menus. There’s also more pressure toward Microsoft accounts, cloud services, and default apps than many users want. On older hardware, the system requirements feel arbitrary and lock out perfectly capable machines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Standard with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Windows 11?

I really like that Windows 11 is the standard, so I don't have to think about compatibility issues, and I know every software will be available. It's simple to use and user-friendly, which is great since I use it for both work and personal needs. I appreciate that every game on Steam and Epic Games can run on Windows 11. I also enjoy the media features, like movies and TV, and the overall Windows ecosystem including the apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The initial setup was super easy, which was a nice experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?

I feel like there's a lot of bloatware and a lot of stuff that maybe is not that necessary for a normal user. There's a lot of bloatware like the Xbox app. I don't like that at all. It's just taking space, and a lot of people don't even play games. It's even installed on computers that are not gaming laptops or gaming computers. You have to turn things off manually, which is very laborious. It can get kinda slow if you don't know what settings to configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Windows 11?

What I like best about Windows 11 is its clean and modern design, which makes the system feel more intuitive and responsive. Features like Snap Layouts, virtual desktops, and improved task management help me multitask efficiently. It runs smoothly in my daily work and integrates well with Microsoft tools I use frequently, which improves overall productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Windows 11?
