What do you like best about Windchill?

What I like most about Windchill is its strong product data management and version control. It keeps all design files, documents, and revisions in one central place, which helps reduce confusion and prevent errors. I also find the integration with CAD tools very useful, since it makes collaboration between engineering teams smoother, more organized, and easier to manage. What I dislike about Windchill is that it can feel complex and not very user-friendly, especially for new users. The interface seems outdated, and many tasks take more steps than I would expect. It also requires significant training and ongoing system support, and performance can be slow at times, particularly when working with large datasets. What problems is Windchill solving and how is that benefiting you?

Windchill helps solve the challenge of managing large volumes of product data and coordinating changes across multiple teams. It gives us a single, controlled place to store designs, documents, and revisions, which reduces the risk of version conflicts and data loss. For our organization, this improves collaboration between engineering and other departments, cuts down on errors, and helps ensure everyone is working from the most current information throughout the product lifecycle.
